I’m so glad that you and BabyGirl got to spend the mother daughter time together. I just went to senior prom 4 years ago, and hearing you all talk gives me an insight to the kinds of thoughts going through my parents’ heads. My mama made my dress, and so much love went into every stitch that I felt it all the moment I put it on. But Daddy didn’t have the Alpha Male syndrome going on, ONLY becuz I went to prom with my girls. But the day is coming when I’ll bring a young man to my parents house, and there will be some SERIOUS growling going on then, and probably some howling, maybe a bite or two…

What a wonderful time for you and your daughter. I was blessed enough to have both of my parents with me at my Jr Prom ( hey! I was on the prom committee and short two chaporones, but still had a ball) and also had my mother do my makeup for both Jr and Sr proms. She is a beautful young women you should be too proud. Always take the time you need to do you. We can wait you are well worth it.

Your daughter is pretty. I remember a year ago when my mom and sister were doing the exact same thing. Fussing over every detail while I was chill just ready to go to dinner with friends. Senior year is crazy. Good luck!

Wow - she is absolutely gorgeous and she does look like her Mama That dress is definately a masterpiece and sets off her skin tone beautifully.

My daughter is 12 and I cringe just thinking about her getting older. Boys are already starting and so is my husband. Oh yeah, he has the Shadow Wolf growl down pat!

Your daughter is lovely. I’m really digging that how that necklace goes with her shawl.

Whoo! I can’t even imagine. I’m looking at my 3 year old and getting misty thinking about when her time comes. I don’t know if a sista will be able to hold it together. She betta get ready for the shouting at her graduation (LOL). She just had her tonsils and adenoids taken out yesteday, so I’m getting all the mama cuddle me time I want. She seems so little and fragile. It all goes by so fast. I feel like I just brought her home last week. Of course all the warm and fuzzy changes when she got toys all over the floor and mama done hurt her foot on something or when she breaks another picture frame (I swear Ive replaced the glass in every picture frame I have at least once ) .

Enjoy your time with your daughter, we’ll still be waiting when you get back. Wow college!
