Hey folks… much going on, gotta download the intel fast, LOL… got in a gazillion contest essays from the good people at The Devil’s Candy Store–so I’m gonna be wading through those anonymous entries (the DCS strips off identifying info, I read and pick–to keep it all fair)… but I have to say it is SO AWESOME of them to have donated that really kewel and expensive item to the VHL family, you know.
Then, let us not forget, in about a week and a half, The Twelve Tribes Compound Summit will hit Philly, OMG–talk about crazy logistics and a packed weekend! Whew! The City of Philadelphia’s entertainment and event portal, GOPHILLY.COM put us up in cyberspace
That was also very, very cool. We posted artists that are coming and panelists, so if you haven’t been by www.NeteruTour.com stop by and check it out, the site has been updated.
Meanwhile, I’m working on werewolves and other things that go bump in the night (yay!) I was having “Damali & Carlos” withdrawal until I began working on the graphic novel–but Sasha and Hunter are kinda like methodone (BIG SMILE.)
OK… gotta run… we also updated the appearances page at www.vampirehuntress.com as well as at www.LeslieEsdaileBanks.com with a whirlwind tour. A DC stop will be added this week, too
Back to work for me… you all have a good one and stay in the Light!
BIG PHILLY HUG (and go Steelers! I’m a PA resident, smile, what can I say?! LOL!)

I can’t make it to the Summit…But everyone have a GREAT time!!!!!!
If any L. A. Banks fans have ever played around with who ought to play the Huntress characters in the movie or TV series, we have placed them all on our website, available for “fantasy casting”. Pick a book, select a character/role, and start plugging in the actors and acresses. Happy Casting!
OMG!!
I tried to make The Thirteenth last forever, but it only lasted a day!! (Tear) I laughed, I cried, and I held my breathe. Once again, you did an excellent job on VHL and the graphic novel at the end looks awesome!! I loved it!! I want to know if we are gonna see more of Heru!!! I think you should do the Under World thing and start from the beginning, cause you sparked my curiosity to no end. Just a thought, that way we could keep our beloved saga going. LOL (sad I know)
Now I just have to wait for the next book in the Moon novels. I can’t wait to read about Sasha and Max again.
HAVE A GREAT BREAK!!! WISH I COULD BE AT THE SUMMIT, HAVE FUN EVERYBODY!!!
Hey Leslie, hope all is well. It’s about 3:43am my time, just got done with The Thirteenth. I actually bought the book on the second of February but was afraid to read it since I knew it was the final book, so I dragged it about with me, but didn’t actually start reading it until today. The idea as usual was to try to make it last as long as possible but of course (as usual) that didn’t work, I ended up finishing the book. However, I have to say that I am honestly happy about how you handled the final book, I was so worried about how everything would be covered and if all my questions would be answered and praying that all would be well. Thank you very much for a wonderful series and for a satisfying conclusion. Which is not to say that if you should somehow feel the need to keep writing BTB or other short stories about the characters, that such stories or even novels would not be welcomed–because trust me they would be very welcomed! I understand you will be doing a series with the Guardian kids for young adults, but I think I can speak for many by saying, we would definitely be supportive of you in continuing your adult series if you should choose to do so through short stories or BTB
(Yeah, I’m trying smooth with my suggestion/request/wish I know, but I have to at least try right?)
Anyhoo, just letting you know I truly enjoyed the book and look forward to hopefully seeing you on the 28th when you are in the A at the Shrine, and getting your “John Hancock” on the book. I am also looking forward to next Moon novel. Talk to you later. Have a blessed night or rather a blessed day!
