Hi, Everybody! Looooooong time no write… I know, I know 
Been finishing a monster project–setting up the young adult series that will follow the beloved VHL. Had to get all the kids’ characters right, make sure in that first novle in the series I blended in conflicts with the parents… I promise you, you’re gonna LOVE Carlos as a Dad–yeah, that guy is having fits with his teenage daughter and about to “vamp snatch” his son.
So, that’s why I’ve been in hiding. Starting a new series needed total concentration to set the foundation correctly, just like it did when starting the VHL. Now I feel like my brain is about to leak out of my ears, OY, ha ha ha!
Gonna go on vacation, but will definitely be back in time for the LA Black Book Expo… so any of you guys who are out on the West Coast, hopefully I’ll see you on 8/22 in LA!
I hope everyone had a fabulous summer… I’ve definitely gotta get back on the boards and back to the blog… maybe even get a BTB done, ya know? I miss everybody!

Thanking you for the update, I was just bragging about your VHL Series last night, loved it. I am so excited to see that it continues with the kids. I am waiting for september for the next book in the Crimson Moon seriese. I love your work, enjoy your vacation…

Hooray … more books are on the way. It will be fun watching Carlos be Big Daddy!! but even more fun watching the aunts and uncles in motion. Granpa Shabazz and Unca Mike and Unca Rider will be hell on wheels!

I can not wait for the new Moon novel. I love Max’s character more than Carlos!! (Don’t kill me anyone, Please!!) I already know I won’t get any work done once the book drops. Then I am going to be home when the graphic novel and the children of book comes. Thank you L.A. look like for once we are on one accord with the timings; I get to read my book while I’m in labour. LOL

I am new fan of the VHL books. So far I am on book 7 and I am enjoying every word out of it. L.A. Banks is a fabulous writer. The books have opened my eyes so much to different religions and general knowledge on how to live life appropriately. I love the VHL series and cannot wait to finish them so I can go on to read the werewolf’s books. Thank you so much for providing me with better black stories other than the tales from the hood.
