Happy New Year!

By Leslie

I know, I know, LOL… I’ve been AWOL at the start of the New Year–forgive me! :) But I’ve been head-down at the computer creating new stories and navigating the logistics of the Twelve Tribes Compound Summit… which has morphed into its own beast, BIG GRIN!

However, there are some post holiday goodies for readers… a brand new story on the MacMillan/St. Martin’s Press Website, entitled, Atlantis Rising–sort of my parting BTB as the VHL series nears its finale book release of “The Thirteeth.” So go to the site and sign up for pub-alerts:

Even though the VHL novel series is formally ending with book #12 — we have graphic novels featuring Carlos and Damali and the team still coming, with a manga prequel of their early team lives, as well as “children of” the Neteru Guardian Team coming out in a young adult format… so this year and 2010 will prove to be filled with VHL methodone–(laughing–for me, too–I already miss my beloved characters!)

And lets not forget about Sasha and Hunter… Undead on Arrival will be out in April… and then next year I’ll have some romance in he form of The Men of Delta Force–but 2009 was my paranormal writing year… this girl’s been crazy-busy over the holiday.

So, thanks so much for hanging in there during my writer “time black outs.” It’s gotten to the point that I have to do it, and bless you all for being so patient with me.

BIG HUG and Much Love, Leslie!

Happy New Year Ms. Banks! I loved Atlantis Rising and the new wall paper! I still can’t believe that VHL is ending. I’ve never had a group of fictional characters affect me the way that Damali and Carlos have. I think it’s becausse they are so well written, so human. I have loved everything you have written, from VHL to the Trust Series to Crimson Moon. You are so versatil! Have no worries about us fans, we have your back gurl!

I hope the Summit is everything you hope for, and I am so sad that I can’t be there, but Huston is only a few months away, and I may make that visit.

God Bless you in this New Year!

    Hugs, Jackie

Hi – am a new reader of your works. Just finished Bad Blood and Bite the Bullet. Am looking forward to book #3. I love Hunter and Sasha, please tell me that Hunter will live and recover AND that they lifemate!!! I don’t think that I can take it if they don’t. Sure Shogun sounds hot but not like Hunter! Love your writing and will be reading all the VHL series too.

Glad you’re busy. :-) It means more stories for us to read. ;-) Are you going to Dragon Con this year? Talk to you soon!

Hi Leslie…I’m getting so upset with your Crimson Moon publishers. Why can’t they put a woman of color on the front of the books? It should be obvious, given how well the VHL sells, that having a sister on the front isn’t going to jeopardize sales!
